Mark Sanderlin is a regular narrator for Timothy Janovsky's novels. His charming voice goes well with Janovsky's dry wit, and with the queer couple at the heart of this romantic comedy. Between studying for his sommelier courses and living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, the last thing Julien Boire needs is the distraction that mixologist Greg Harlowe presents. But what begins as a tense co-working relationship at Julien's family restaurant turns complicated when the two agree to a friends-with-benefits arrangement and soon can't imagine a future without each other. Sanderlin navigates the balance between humorous and heartwarming moments deftly with a narration that amplifies the novel's romantic tension.
