When aspiring writer Amelia Fischer falls for the hot girl behind the bar, she has no idea what she's getting into. Mel Park may be one sexy bartender, but her personal life is an ugly mess. She's still digging out from the damage done by the disastrous end of her last relationship. Yet, when Amelia starts visiting her bar, she can't help but notice and be intrigued by the quiet young woman. Amelia's roommate and best friend, Eliza, doesn't have much faith in Amelia's chances with Mel; she sees Amelia as a naive romantic, whereas Mel is tough and mysterious—maybe a bit too mysterious for Eliza's liking.
